About the Course

The B.Sc. in Dialysis Technology is a highly specialized undergraduate program that prepares students to become skilled dialysis technologists capable of operating dialysis machines and managing the care of patients with renal failure. Dialysis technologists are trained in both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis techniques, emergency renal care, and machine maintenance. This program is vital in producing professionals who assist nephrologists in treating patients with kidney-related ailments, especially in hospitals and renal care centers.

  • Students undergo a 1-year hospital-based clinical internship, where they are posted in nephrology and dialysis units. They gain hands-on experience in managing patients, running dialysis cycles, operating and maintaining machines, and responding to emergencies.
